Veggie Roll is a good evening time snack.It is so simple and delicious.
Onion--1 cup (finely chopped)
Ginger Garlic Paste--1/4 spoon
Oil for frying
Heat the frying pan with oil.Fry the jeera and cumin seeds,the onion and chili till onion becomes golden brown.Meanwhile cook the vegetables in microwave.After the onion is fried ,add the vegetables ,ginger garlic paste and garam masala and mix it well.While you add potato smash them well and add.Mix it well so that the vegetables are well mixed with the masala.Add salt to it and remove from stove.
Now we can stuff this in pastry sheets and fry in oil.
If you would like to make the pastry sheets we can also make it.
Ingredients for Pastry sheets
Maida Flour (All purpose flour)----3 cups.
water -----------------------------3/4 cup
A pinch of salt.
Mix the maida flour with water .The dough should be flexible like we make it for chappathis
Spread it like chappathi .Now the veg stuff can be kept into it and can be closed well and fried.
This is really very good to health and tastes yummy.
Carrot Halwa is one of the most famous south indian sweet.This is liked by all.
Grated Carrot---------4 cups
Grate the carrots and put it in the vessel.Pour the milk and allow the carrot to cook in the milk.It may take time but keep checking it often.After 20 to 25 min the carrot will be mostly cooked.Add the sugar by stirring continuously .When it looks like completed pour 2 table spoon ghee and take away from the stove.Fry cashews ,small bits of almonds over it .
A simple delicious sweet.
