chooyam

It has been a very long time i blogged.I am totally occupied with my chores these days. After a long time i wanted to start blogging with a sweet. Here you go ,my chooyam

Ingredients:

Maida Flour----------1/2 cup
Jaggery--------------3/4 cup
Coconut--------------1 cup
Cardamom powder------1 tsp
Oil for frying

Procedure:

Add jaggery in water and heat it till it dissolves completely.
Add the coconut to it and keep on stirring.
Add the cardamom powder and remove from heat when it becomes thick so that small balls can be made from this mix.
After making the small balls, take the maida flour and make it as a paste.
Dip the sweet balls in the maida flour paste.
Heat the oil and deep fry them.

This is a very simple and yummy sweet, try this and i am sure you will enjoy the taste.
